InterMotion Technology has an over decade-long history of developing innovative solutions that include ‘concept-to-deployment’ full service electronic system development. Our capabilities include mixed-signal board design and prototyping, complex algorithm design and data analysis, FPGA module IP development as well as embedded and web application software development. InterMotion’s extensive experience with both FPGA IP definition and development allows the company to bring flexibility to system implementations.

Coupling our design capabilities with our manufacturing partners allows us to provide to provide turn-key solutions from architecture to deployment.

InterMotion’s FPGA expertise covers product families such as Lattice’s low power ECP5, iCE40 UltraPlus, MachX02/3, CrossLink and CrossLink-NX, as well as Xilinx’s Kintex, Artix and Virtex FPGAs. The company has worked closely with Lattice engineering teams to develop more than 30 soft IP designs for their current and future FPGA product families. IP designs developed for Lattice range from simple modules, such as GPIO and UART, to more complex designs, such as I3C, MIPI D-PHY, Byte-to-Pixel Converter, SubLVDS Image Sensor Receiver, SGMII, LPDDR2 and DDR3 memory controllers and Tri-Speed Ethernet MAC.

InterMotion leveraged their Lattice design experience in developing the Etron RPC Memory Controller for the Lattice ECP5, delivering a solution that is drop-in compatible with the Lattice DDR3 memory controller IP. The company also developed and produced an evaluation and characterization board that was used to validate the design in hardware. InterMotion will be providing support on Etron’s behalf for customers who integrate the Etron RPC Memory Controller into their designs.
